외국우표인줄 알았네요…이탈리안 화가 안토니오 꼬레지오 기념 우표 (1983년
발행) 

Didn’t think this nice looking stamp was from North Korea.

Antonio Correggio (1498-1534)  Italian Painter.

 

 

 

 

우표에 “전봉준 선생” 이라고 쓰여있군요 (1854-1895 동학농민의 지도자)

1959년 우표  ”전국 녀성 사회주의 건설자 회의”

북한의 실제상황은 어떤지 몰라도, 적어도 겉으로는 남녀 평등을 일찍부터 표방한듯합니다.

1948년에 발행된 중앙정부 수립 9 9절 기념 우표입니다.

1979년에 나온 말타는 고구려인 우표입니다.  다른 분야에 비해 북한의
우표 디자인 만큼은 한국이나 외국과 비교해 봐도 손색이 없다는 생각이 듭니다.

Unlike most N. Korean product, the stamp design is par with the western design. 

 

 

 

 1977 Sir Rowland Hill  이 누군가 하고 찾아보니 영국의 우편제도를 완전히
새로 바꾼 분이더군요.  그러니까 영국 우체국의 아버지 정도 되는분입니다.
 북한에서 영국 사람을 주제로 우표를 만들었다는것이 신기하군요.  제생각엔
예전에 영국인들이 북한의 기념우표를 많이 사 주었던것 같습니다.   1979

I’m not sure why would N.Korea commemorate him…

Perhaps to sell thses stamps to Europe?

I heard North Korea produce two type of stamps, – one for domestic use and one for export.

북한의 유명인사들 – 앞줄은 려운형, 김종태, 김책이로군요.  뒷줄은 누구일까요?

Most highly hornored N. Korean figures. (of course other than Kim, Ilsung and Kim, Jungil)

Kim Jongtae was a political figure in S. Korea but later found to be a  N. Korean spy. 

 He was executed in 1969

N. Korean leader Kim Ilsung try to rescue him by sending special miliatry unit to S. Korea, but they were all killed by S. Korea army.

After his death, N. Korean leader Kim, Ilsung gave Kim, Jongtae the most high honor.

And there are university, street, and manufacturing facility that are named after him in N. Korea. 

Some S. Korean argue that Kim Jongtae was in fact not a spy but set up by S. Korean government.  But this stamp is one of the proof that  Kim Jongtae WAS in fact sent by Kim Ilsung to overturn S. Korea government in late 1960s 

 

One more sad piece of history between North and South Korea….
